The Boulder Blind Cafe is concert, a community discussion with the Blind servers and a dinner that is held in total darkness that happens 3 + times a year in Boulder, CO. The intent of this group is to help connect The Boulder Blind Cafe goers and explore further how this event or others like it can open people's heart and 'eyes'.
Kiwanisis a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Our members develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds and raise funds for pediatric research. We help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged and care for the sick. Working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. And along the way, club members share friendship and laughter.

The group will be for parents of kids with Diabetes. This is a challange that can knock you off your feet. There is a ton of info to learn and feelings that keep you up at night. So i hope this group will be able to help parents and kids understand the new change in our lives. I am new to this change of life and would like to find others that need support or can help with support. Our kids can lead a normal life if we understand and help them understand the change.
